Byron Psychology utilises The Byron Process which is based on research in scientific principles of change. Here are some of the major principles I follow.

Responsive and Fitted to the client

Each Session and Treatment Program designed for the individual needs of the client. Too often coaching or therapy clients have to follow  the therapist or coaches model of therapy. Sessions are responsive and reflect the feedback.

It's Experiential

Change isn’t just talked about, you actually get to experience new states of mind and being while you’re in the consultation sessions. You step into your resources so the problems, that once seemed insurmountable, are faced squarely and put back in perspective.

Backed by state-of-the art knowledge in science, psychology, spirituality and coaching

I’m trained in Clinical Psychology, Strategic Intervention Coaching, Family and Marital Therapy, Spiritual Approaches and Systemic Organisational and Business Consulting. I draw from the research in all of these fields to bring you truly state of the art techniques and approaches.

Focuses on the whole person

All aspects of your life are covered. Your relationship with yourself, your relationship with others, with your work, with the wider community and with Life itself.

Is Heart Focused

Everything is integrated with the heart. Here Meditations such as     Self-Compassion are at the centre of all change processes.

Uses a Map of Change

I have developed a 7 Step model of change that I follow for each and every process I undertake. These steps contain the keys to get you ready for the deepest most lasting change possible. Understanding where you are now is the only way to start a journey. And a map ensures you get to where you really want to go.

Uses The 7 Methods Approach

I draw on 7 major intervention methods for change. Each of these 7 Methods are powerful interventions in their own right which are then tailored to each step of your individual change process.

All Set in Beautiful Byron Bay

Known for its spiritual transformative qualities both by the traditional indigenous peoples and by the many who flock to be rejuvenated here each year. Though current sessions are by Telehealth (video) the deep strength and essence of this Arakwal Land is drawn upon. We give thanks to the Bundjalung Nation and their generosity in welcoming us.
